Bottle rockets get their name because small "pop bottle" rockets with report (bang) were originally launched from old fashioned soda pop bottles. However, rockets, like bottles, have changed. Bottles are now plastic and can no longer hold rockets upright for straight flight. Additionally, newer, bigger "sky rockets" now can reach great heights. So... please use a length of pipe or proper rocket launch tube for all your rockets. A vacuum cleaner extension pipe works great. If you have a vacuum, you have a launch tube. Please do not use bottles or stick the wooden rocket stick in the ground!
