ALMOST ALL OF OUR CONTAINERS WERE IN HOUSE BEFORE THE TARRIFS, AND THE TWO THAT WERE NOT WERE SHIPPED BEFORE TARIFFS BECAME EXTREMELY HIGH. HOWEVER, THIS STILL REPRESENTS A PRETTY BIG HIT.
BUT INSTEAD OF INCORPORATING THESE TARRIFS INTO PRICING, WE ARE GOING A DIFFERENT ROUTE.
A SIMPLE 3% TARIFF SURCHARGE WILL BE ADDED TO EACH SALE (SIMILAR TO A SALES TAX OR CREDIT CARD SURCHARGE).
THIS MEANS A $3.00 SURCHARGE ON A $100.00 PURCHASE, RATHER THAN A $3.00 INCREASE IN PRICE ON EVERY $10.00 ITEM. MUCH BETTER, WOUDLN'T YOU AGREE?
